Walk & Wade Trips

Waders on. Rods rigged. Excitement high.

Get ready to step into the crystal-clear waters of the Pocono Mountains and experience some of the best trout fishing the region has to offer. Our walk-and-wade trips take you through beautiful, fish-filled streams surrounded by scenic mountain landscapes. The diversity of trout streams here means there’s always a place to fish, regardless of weather, water levels, or time of year.

Whether you're just starting out with casting and fly selection on local waters, or you're ready to hike into remote, seldom-fished sections of river, we’ve got a trip tailored to your experience and goals. No matter which option you choose, our mission is the same: to send you home with a deeper understanding of freestone fly fishing—and hopefully a fish tale worth sharing.

Gear Tips

Waders & Boots:

We provide wading boots, but if you bring your own, we recommend rubber-soled boots with metal studs. The Pocono streams can be slick, with lots of polished boulders—any extra traction goes a long way. If you can’t find studs, small sheet metal screws from your local hardware store work great in a pinch.

Rods:

All gear is included, but you're welcome to bring your own rod. We recommend a 4 or 5 weight rod with a properly balanced reel and matching line. If needed, we’ll provide a balanced rod and reel for each angler.
